Prerequisites:

  • Completion of the In-Depth Tax Course.
  • Two years of post In-Depth Tax Course taxation experience.

Professionals who do not meet these requirements may be admitted by special request.

Special Requirements

All participants are required to live in-residence for the duration of the course. Your accommodations will be pre-booked on your behalf by CPA Canada. Participants are responsible for settling accounts (accommodations and incidentals) directly with the hotel when checking out. You will be required to submit a credit card upon arrival. Late arrivals, early departures and “no shows” will be charged.

Guestroom block is from September 29- October 3, 2018:

  • $277.57 per night plus applicable taxes

All participants are required to bring the latest edition of the Income Tax Act to the course site.

Participants should also have ready access to one or more of the recognized tax services at their offices for any advance preparation.

NOTE: Some pre-work will be required, including online studies and reading prior to classroom sessions.

Transportation

CPA Canada has arranged for private shuttle bus transfers to Manoir Saint Sauveur Resort, Spa Convention from the Sheraton Montreal Airport Hotel.

The cost of the bus transportation to and from the course is $80.00 plus applicable taxes (non refundable). This must be paid at the time of registration. Without pre-payment you are not permitted on the bus. There will be no custom pick-up/drop-offs. CPA Canada will be running a bus from the Sheraton Montreal Airport Hotel (555 McMilan Blvd, Montreal, QC H9P 1B7).

We will have a Hospitality Suite at the Sheraton Montreal Airport Hotel. This Suite will be open from 1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. for your convenience while you wait for the departing coach.

Please note that you need to check in at the Hospitality Suite when you arrive. Priority on the bus is based on signing-in at the Hospitality Suite. The coach is for participants only – all guests will have to make their own travel arrangements..

The bus will depart at 3:30 p.m. from the Sheraton Montreal Airport Hotel on Saturday, September 29, 2018. The return bus will depart from Manoir Saint Sauveur at 12:00 on Wednesday, October 3, 2018.

This bus is only for participants that have purchased and paid in advance for this service.

Refund Policy

If you are unable to attend an event for any reason, you may substitute, by arrangement with the Registrar, someone else from your organization, or, you may cancel up to 30 calendar days prior to the course start date for a full refund. Cancellations received within 30 calendar days of the course start date will be subject to a $300 administration fee (plus applicable taxes) and any related hotel cancellation fees.

The topics, program format and events are correct at the time of publishing. If unforeseen circumstances occur, CPA Canada has the right to alter or delete items from the program or cancel the course and refund all registration fees.

Access to Material

No handouts will be distributed onsite, conference/workshop presentations will be available online approximately 1 week prior to the conference for you to download and/or print as needed.
