In-Depth Brokers and Investment Dealers Course 2022

PREREQUISITE ONLINE PRE-READING MODULE (to be completed prior to October event):

The online pre-reading module (Module 1) consists of 4 separate lessons whereby participants will learn about the background to the Canadian Securities Industry and the Types of Brokerage Activities. The lessons will cover the following topics:

• Lesson 1 – Capital Markets and the Securities Industry
• Lesson 2 – Investment Dealer Trading Activities
• Lesson 3 – Corporate Finance
• Lesson 4 – Other Activities of Investment Dealers

Prior to attending the course participants will be expected to have reviewed over all of the pre-reading material. This material will be uploaded into the Desire-2-Learn online learning platform approximately 1-2 weeks before the date of the workshop.

• 7+ calendar days prior to start date: Full refund available
• 3-6 calendar days prior to start date: $50 cancellation fee applies
• 2 calendar days or fewer prior to start date: No refund available

The topics, program format and events are correct at the time of publishing. If unforeseen circumstances occur, CPA Canada has the right to alter or delete items from the program or cancel the event and refund all registration fees.
