The In-Depth GST/HST Program is designed for serious indirect tax professionals in Canada. In Part 2, you will continue to develop foundational knowledge and skills to navigate a variety of indirect tax issues.

Additional Resource Requirements:

Students must have access to or a copy of the Excise Tax Act in either paper or electronic form. You can purchase EY's Complete Guide to GST/HST, 2022 (30th) Edition for this purpose, if needed.

Special Requirements

The In-Depth GST/HST Program has been adapted to a digital offering and will be divided into two parts. The topics of Part 2 are listed above and include a mix of self-study and virtual classroom interactive tutorials.

There will be approximately 10 hours of asynchronous content including pre-recorded lectures and self-study assessments.

Virtual classrooms – Tutorial Series:
In addition to self-study modules, there will be seven (7) interactive workshops held weekly in a virtual classroom with a facilitator on the Zoom video conferencing platform. Participants are required to attend the virtual tutorials at a scheduled time. Each tutorial will be approximately two hours in length. The Spring term will be held over seven consecutive weeks in May and July 2023. Virtual sessions will be held on Tuesday or Wednesday (Eastern & Mountain timezones). Virtual session sign-up information will be provided upon registration.

Refund Policy

If you are unable to attend an event for any reason, you may substitute, by arrangement with the Registrar, someone else from your organization, or, you may cancel up to 30 calendar days prior to the course start date for a full refund.

Cancellations received within 30 calendar days of the course start date will be subject to a $150 administration fee (plus applicable taxes).
