Developed for the In-Depth Tax Program, this course is for tax and non-tax professionals who want an in-depth understanding of the income tax implications that arise on the death of an individual. The course consists of three separate modules which highlight the tax implications to the individual’s capital assets, registered assets, categorization of income, reporting options, tax compliance rules, as well as the responsibilities of a deceased person’s legal representative.

This course is based upon enacted Canadian income tax legislation as of March 31, 2021.
